Gustavo Vargas is originally from Mexico City, Mexico.  He was raised in Houston, TX. He's been dancing and Choreographing professionally for 14yrs.  He has Danced, Choreographed, and Toured for artist such as Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Will Smith, Usher, Pink, Mya, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Paulina Rubio, Roselyn Sanchez, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, N'Sync, Jessica Simpson, and Eva Longoria to name a few.  He has also choreographed and danced on Television shows such as American Idol-Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Finale Show, Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance-Canada, So You Think You Can Dance-USA, Bruno and Carrie Ann’s Dance Wars, Intro for America’s Best Dance Crew, True Blood, Eve, 7th Heaven, Drew Carey, Boston Public, Nikki Cox. Award shows include the American Music Awards, The Grammys, The Latin Grammy’s, Guys Choice Awards, MTV Music Video Awards, TV Land Awards, and Janet Jackson MTV-Icon.  He has worked on movies such as The Bachelor, Be Cool, Dirty Dancing II-Havana Nights, Spanglish, Master of Disguise, Along Came Polly, Jackass II, Rent, and Indiana Jones.  He has also made his acting debut on the TV show "Strong Medicine".  

He currently reside in Los Angeles where he continues to do what he loves.

Gustavo teaches all styles of dance.  He is technically trained and is also known for his partnering skills.  He travels the world giving Master classes of all styles.
